Practicing in the sunshine!
Returning to Upper Colville after what seemed like a month away the players basked in the sunshine and greeted Coach Mario who led them in a Sunday of skill drills! Mario had seen most of the players the week before but we also welcomed newcomer Montana [LH] to our ranks and where sorry to not see Zoe who suffered an injury the previous week (we miss you Zoe, get well and return next season!)
Mario wanted to make sure the players where all properly stretched, and at the same time ran them through some strength training [which the girls really enjoyed]!
(below) "In this physics lesson we see the proper angle for a well taken corner!"
Coach Mario took the players out for a Flying lesson, the purpose of which was proper movement as they moved the ball from their foot "inside to outside"
At the end of the practice we had a small sided game....

"Dad, Coach Mario said you should work with me on my headers... wanna try?"
