A field of Dreams...
Sunday March 5th 11am UpperColville was the u10G 'Home Field' as the 12 players that where able to attend their scheduled training session had sole use of the entire field not having to share with other LISA DDC Academy development teams! With Coach Mario at his U12B game Academy Head Coach Dave M took the reins and ran the LISA u10G Dolphins through a 90 minute practice. Main themes consisted of a good first touch, a good pass and passing (something which has been missing in recent exhibition games)!

Most parents elected to stay in the warmth of their automobiles as the weather conditions where cool and windy throughout the practice but the Girls did not complain instead many said at the water break 'I'm hot' (from Coach DaveM's practice)!

At the end of the practice CoachDaveM had a chat with the girls in which he tried to lay out some things he hopes to see the girls put into practice during their upcoming Gorge Tournament games April 1/2!
While 11 LISA girls where busy practicing, at the other end of the pitch, LISA keeper Michaela was enjoying a 90 minute 'tutorial' on the finer points of Keeper work. CoachBobS worked on M's Goal Kicks including punting the ball over the distant net..
Then CoachBob 'drilled' a few balls at Michaela and she made many diving attempts to keep them out of the net!
At the end of the practice the girls went through their customary 'cool down' drill.
Just a reminder to everyone that next Sunday March 18th is a regular 11am-12.30 LISA u10G training session at Upper Colville we hope to see everyone attend!
